Education and Experience

September '05 - June '10

From September 2005 to June 2010, I attended The Coopers' Company and Coborn School in Upminster for Secondary Education. This resulted in the taking of eight GCSEs in the Summer of 2010, including Maths, English and IT. My results for these were three A* grades, three A grades and two B grades.

July '09

In July 2009, I worked for two weeks at West & Coe Funeral Directors at their head office in Dagenham. This predominantly involved duties in the workshop, but with some clerical duties as well. Through this experience, I learned to follow instructions, work to a deadline and function as part of a team. It also taught me to work independently when necessary, and use my initiative and think on my feet when appropriate.

Currently

Having stayed on at Coopers' to do Sixth Form Studies, I am currently studying towards four A Levels. These are Computing, Music Technology, Maths and Further Maths, all subjects I am very much interested in. I have already taken the full Maths AS Level, although have yet to receive the results, and I am working through the Music Technology coursework, working mainly in Logic Pro.

Achievements

I was awarded the year prizes at school for ICT, Maths, Science and Academic Excellence between Year 7 and 11. I have also gained Trumpet Grade 7 with Merit, equivalent to a B grade AS Level. I have eight A*-C GCSE qualifications.

Attributes

I have good written and spoken communication skills, as well as good computer and maths skills. I am polite and punctual, and I have a range of interests, allowing me to easily apply myself to the job in hand.

Wider Interests

I have been involved in the Romford British Legion band for over three years and am very musical. I am interested in the technical side of computing, involving myself with things such as web and application design and development. I have a keen interest in radio production and presentation, and occasionally present on an amateur internet radio station. I also enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction.
